Windows comes with a built in tool called Disk Defragmenter that can organize files on your Hard Drive to make it run faster if you do repetitious tasks such as saving and deleting pictures and other documents. The file system known as NTFS (New Technology File System) is known to do a better job at keeping your files organized on your Hard Drive, but still needs to be defragmented from time to time. To do this you should find your Hard Drive by double-clicking on your My Computer icon, which is either found directly on your Desktop or in your Start Menu. Once you're there you should see a drive labeled as C: which is the default drive that Windows is installed on. Now right click your C: and mouse down and click on Properties in the menu. Once in the C: Properties window, you will select the Tools tab near the top. In the Tools tab, select the Defragment Now button.
